About the Role
Todd Tavern is the longest standing venue in Alice Springs. Located next to the Todd River. We have 3 bars. A restaurant. Bottleshop. Function/event rooms. Accomodation that is being renovated.
This role reports to the owners and hotel manager; works alongside and supports the bottleshop manager, kitchen team and another duty manager; manages staff and contracted security; engages with suppliers, emergency services and maintenance providers; and represents the business to locals, corporate clients, tourists and account clients.
If you are relocating there is an option for onsite accomodation to be included in your package. This benefit comes with additional responsibilities including responding to incidents outside your rostered hours.

Requirements
MANDATORY
Must be available for a rotating regular roster that includes weekends, opens and closes
NT RSA is required. All states are transferable
NT RSG is required. Interstate may be transferable
NT Gaming manager. Interstate equiv. are transferable
Evidence of COVID vaccination
Live in Alice Springs or available to relocate
Know or learn the NT liquor licensing laws
ESSENTIAL
Experience managing kegs and tap lines
Experience managing disputes
Experience in training and directing staff duties
Experience setting up bars and rooms for functions
Willing to lead by example in providing hospitality
Willing to do daily setup, maintenance and pack down
Willing to order services, consumables and work with suppliers and contractors
Proactive in keeping customers served and venue clean
Assist with stock management
AN ADVANTAGE
Experience in hotel accomodation management
Experience in off premise retail alcohol sales
